“Some Like It Hip Hop” is a show that has already won over audiences in the West End thanks to its appearance in the capital in 2012 and now it makes its way back to the Peacock Theatre for another run in 2013. Brought to us by the talented team at Zoonation it is certain that London theatre audiences will set out in high numbers to witness the production and ensure that this becomes a West End classic.
The show follows up on previous Zoonation hits to give a hip hop twist to a well known story – in this case “Some Like It Hot” – with “Into the Hoods” being a another show that entertained audiences at the Royal Festival Hall.
Kate Prince directs the production and does so as the Associate Artist of Sadler’s Wells. She also directed “Into the Hoods”, as well as shows like “BoxBeat” at Sadler’s Wells. She has also brought other shows to West End locations like the Queen’s Theatre.
So expect great dancing and a compelling story to take to the stage of the Peacock Theatre in the same year as shows like “Ballet Revolucion”, with “Some Like It Hip Hop” running from Friday 3rd May 2013.
