About Wicked

Discover the spellbinding musical that’s left countless audiences changed for good. Experience the magic of Wicked, the ninth-longest-running musical in West End history, by booking tickets on Box Office today.

With beautiful tunes by Stephen Schwartz (Pippin, Godspell), a moving story about friendship and individuality, and plenty of wizardry in the land of Oz, Wicked is “an evening of sheer musical theatre bliss,” raves London Theatre.

The family-friendly show has become popular with audiences of all ages, winning three major awards out of 13 combined nominations on Broadway and in London. Fans go back time and time again to hear songs like “Defying Gravity,” “Popular,” “Dancing Through Life,” and “For Good.”

Wicked takes place before the events of The Wizard of Oz, when Elphaba — better known as the Wicked Witch of the West — was just a girl. Her friendship with Glinda the Good Witch, and both their lives, turns upside down forever when the world turns on Elphaba, who might not be so wicked after all.
